SIMON business was set in 1916 by Arturo Simon Vivet, with its headquarter in Barcelona, Spain.
SIMON specializes in low voltage devices with accessories, lighting and intelligent control system, etc. After more than 90 years of history, SIMON now has more than 20 subsidiaries all over the world. It has 12 overseas production sites, and a marketing network covering over 50 countries across 4 continents.
SIMON
has been operating in the Asia-Pacific area since 1999, when the
company SIMON Electric (China) Co. Ltd. was founded in China with its
head office based in Shanghai and a manufacturing plant in Jiangsu
province.
To
strengthen SIMON influence on the Asia-Pacific region in June 2011 a
Representative Office was founded in Hanoi. As the trading hub between
China and Southeast Asia, Vietnam plays an important role in influencing
the whole Southeast Asia market and, therefore, the Representative
Office was set up in this country having in mind possible further
expansion in this region.
